Make calls
When the device is locked, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.
In the offline profile, you may need to enter the lock code and change the device to a calling profile before making any call,
including a call to an emergency number.
To make and receive calls, the device must be switched on and have a valid SmartChip installed, and you must be located in a
service area of the cellular network. The GPRS connection is put on hold during voice calls unless the network supports dual
transfer mode.
Enter the phone number, including the area code, and press the call key. If you enter an incorrect character, press the backspace
key. You may begin dialing a number from the active idle mode, as shown in the picture.
